Chris is a Security, Fire, Emergency Management and Business Continuity expert with over 40 years of steel and mining expertise. Chris’s career at Dofasco Inc. saw him take on responsibilities that led to him to become Fire Chief and Security Chief while also developing and implementing a comprehensive Emergency Management and Business Continuity program based on risk management model specific to the facility. Chris further advanced his career by undertaking responsibilities for the Global Security Program as the Director of Global Security. Chris has held numerous positions in many municipal, federal and international committees including CAER, City of Hamilton Emergency Planning Committee, City of Hamilton’s Emergency Control/Support Group, MIACC-Safe Communities, TC-Maritime Commerce Resumption, Conference Board of Canada-Council for Security Executives.
